We are please to announce the publication of a new and revised international edition of our book, "Leadership - That Bears Fruit". The book has been an important part of our identity, and thousands of leaders have read it both in print and as an e-book.
This edition is not just simply a direct translation. It has been carefully adapted to an international context with updated language, examples, leadership approaches, and several completely rewritten chapters. We have focused on ensuring that the context is relevant across cultures and reflects both our research and feedback from international leaders.
Over the past several years, we have seen growing internatinal interest in Scandinavian leadership philosophy and our digital platform, creating significant demand for an international edition of the book.
"With this edition, we are opening up our leadership philosophy even further to leaders outside of Denmark. The book is a core element of our company and culture, and it has been a major task to ensure that the translation reflects our vision and values, and that our approach to employee development dialogues and leadership more broadly fits an international context," says Joachim Langagergaard, director of Evovia and co-author of the book.
Our work is based on a solid foundation of research, including the LEVO project led by co-author and CEO Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup - a multi-year study of how leaders can create lasting positive impact through development dialogues supported by leadership tools. The new edition includes, among other things, an entirely new chapter dedicated to the LEVO project.
At the same time, Evovia is firmly rooted in practice, and the connection between leadership research and everyday experience is clearly reflected throughout the book.
"Leadership is more than theory. It is something you practise and develop every day. Many leaders are passionate about good leadership, but translating insights into action can be challenging. This book provides practical tools and inspiration to help leaders succeed," says Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup, CEO of Evovia and co-author.
The English edition is written for leaders and HR professionals around the world who want to develop people and organisations - grounded in research while also focusing on creating a foundation for practical impact.
About the book
The Danish edition, written by Poul Langagergaard, Joachim Langagergaard and Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup, was published in 2022 and has been read by more than 10,000 leaders. The book explores how leaders can approach employee dialogues in ways that support wellbeing. The title is inspired by one of Evovia's core narratives: just as an apple tree needs the right conditiond to bear fruit, employees thrive when their fundamental psychological needs are met.
