Evovia turns 20

For 20 years, Evovia has helped thousands of managers become better leaders.

Since March 2006, tens of thousands of managers and employees have used Evovia’s digital leadership platform as a catalyst for high‑quality employee dialogues, grounded in principles of good leadership. It is a digital platform that does not remove the leadership task, but makes it easier to exercise the kind of leadership you really want to provide – the kind that can be difficult to prioritise and execute in a busy working day with many priorities.

When we started digitalising EDPs in 2006, it was entirely new to digitise leadership processes at all. Today, it is far more common. Although there are many systems on the market claiming to support leadership, few insist on the constructive, research‑ and values‑based foundation that underpins Evovia.

Our 20th anniversary underlines not only that we have been around for many years, but also that we have been able to develop continuously and thus meet new demands in a sector with more and more HR‑tech solutions competing for organisations’ attention.

And today we celebrated this internally at the office. The anniversary was marked with a festive shared lunch, and there were speeches that both took stock of the past 20 years and, of course, looked ahead to the future.

A complete leadership platform

Today, Evovia has grown into a complete leadership platform with 11 tools that digitally support leadership in day‑to‑day work. The common denominator has always been the same: enabling strong leadership that delivers results — even in the midst of a busy working day.

In connection with the anniversary, our founder, Poul Langagergaard, put the starting point into words:

“It has been fundamental for me that, right from the beginning, we have based our work on established leadership literature and research. We want to stand for up‑to‑date leadership. That vision has been consistently maintained throughout the years, and today we have reached a new research‑based level.”

Although Evovia has followed leadership research closely throughout all 20 years, the LEVO project and our collaboration especially with Aarhus University and King Frederik Center for Public Leadership have ensured that our knowledge base today is stronger than ever.

Since February 2026, the developers who write the actual code for Evovia’s digital platform have also become an integrated part of the company – and thus are gathered close to the business. There is a very strong awareness that we need to build on both platform and knowledge base every single year. In his speech, our CEO, Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup, spoke about how much we want to achieve in the future, with ambitions for many more users, as well as major visions for further development and new functionality.

“Our 20 years of experience gives us a strong foundation — but we know we can never stand still. That is why we invest heavily every year in developing our platform so that it can continually make a positive difference for the users of our platform. When we develop in‑house, we can connect technology and leadership expertise more closely and create solutions that not only increase efficiency, but also strengthen engagement, wellbeing and the quality of leadership,” elaborates Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup.

We look forward to delivering practical digital solutions for people leadership for the next 20 years as well. Tools that help organisations with ambitions to reach their goals through the efforts of their fantastic employees – efforts that only become better with truly good leadership!
