We are proud to announce that our book “Leadership – that bears fruit” is now available in a thoroughly revised international edition. The book has been an important part of our identity, and thousands of leaders have read it – now the English version is available both in print and as an e-book.
Rather than a direct translation, this edition has been carefully adapted for an international context – with updated language, examples, leadership approaches, and several completely rewritten chapters. We have worked to ensure that the content is relevant in a global setting and reflects both our research and the feedback of international leaders.
For several years, we’ve seen growing international interest in Scandinavian leadership philosophy and our digital platform, creating strong demand for an international edition of the book.
“With this edition, we are opening our leadership philosophy even more to leaders outside Denmark. The book is a core part of our company and culture, and it’s been a big job to ensure the translation reflects our vision and values – and that communication about employee development dialogues and leadership in general fits an international context,” says Joachim Langagergaard, director at Evovia and co-author of the book.
Our work builds on a solid research foundation, including the LEVO project led by co-author Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup – a multi-year study on how leaders can create lasting positive impact through development dialogues supported by leadership tools. The new edition introduces an all-new chapter covering the LEVO project.
At the same time, Evovia is firmly rooted in practice, and the blend of leadership research and real-world experience is clearly reflected in the book.
“Leadership is more than theory – it’s something you practice and develop in your day-to-day work. Many leaders are passionate about good leadership, but translating insights into action can be challenging. This book offers practical tools and inspiration to help make that happen,” says Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup, CEO at Evovia and co-author.
The English edition is for leaders and HR professionals everywhere who want to grow people and organisations – grounded in research and brought to life in practice.
About the book
The Danish edition, written by Poul Langagergaard, Joachim Langagergaard, and Jørgen Skovhus Haunstrup, was released in 2022 and has been read by more than 10,000 leaders. It explores how leaders can approach employee dialogues in ways that help employees thrive. The title reflects one of Evovia’s core stories: just as an apple tree needs the right conditions to bear fruit, employees flourish when their basic psychological needs are met.
